Helmet is well made and fits true to size. Very happy with the rail section and the overall ease of mounting hearing protection as well as headlight, etc. If your looking for a great helmet at an even better price this is the helmet for you.

Overall look was impressive. The rails do not seem to be made of very high quality plastic and the fitment of the rails to the helmet aren’t the best. They rails do not fit flush against the helmet. With this gap in fitment I suspect it will allow the rails to flex if bumped on something and cause them to crack.
I was very happy that my helmet came with a multicam cover! The internal pads are comfortable and the ratcheting harness system helps a lot with fitting of the helmet.
I attempted to contact GD prior to purchase and asked them where the helmet was manufactured. I never received a response. Leads me to believe it’s probably somewhere in Asia.
All in all I got a pretty solid deal on the helmet with a coupon code. It’s a good secondary helmet to have around and I think it is worth the money.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect in ordering a helmet at this price. However, upon receiving it, I realize it is high-quality, will put together, and will serve my non-Airsoft goals perfectly. I will definitely be referring this company to others, and I just purchased a plate carrier and plates because I know it’s going to be a good quality. And the prices, can’t be beat.

First I based my purchase off of video reviews of the product. The purchase included 2 helmets. The shipping was very fast and customer service was great.
Upon receiving them I was impressed on the quality for the price. The inner padding is comfortable and fit is good. They are a little heavy compared to pricier competitors. They both came with very nice helmet covers they are a lot nicer than the ones pictured on the website.
There are a few things that I noticed that weren’t deal breakers but I didnt like so much. When I pulled one of the helmets from the packaging some loose hardware fell out. It appears to be a nut that is used to hold pieces to the inside of the helmet. I couldnt find anything missing but I didnt want to rip everything out of the inside of the helmet either. Also putting the helmets side by side I noticed that the NV mounts are not mounted in the same position. One is mounted about roughly half an inch higher than the other. Which I guess isn’t a big deal overall. There is also no manufacture date anywhere. Given these are made from kevlar I would assume that they have an expiration date. Lastly it would be nice if they had a care guide such as something that tells what kind of temperature that they are rated for. Not sure how they would hold up if you had them stored in your vehicle for long periods.
Overall though for the price they appear to be the best bang for your buck. Especially if you are just starting a kit and are tight on money.

Good fit, suspension is good, padding is good, would like to see a metal NVG shroud, the hardware for the shroud were not completely thread through the shroud because 2 of the 3 screws are the wrong ones and are too short, only one was completely threaded because it Was long enough, nitpicking here but instead of OD green I think ranger green is better (just me though). Great helmet, Peltor ARC attachments work well. Fitment and retention is good. The quick adjust neck is fantastic. No comfort issues so far but even if there were, that’s what aftermarket is for. I’m happy and I can recommend this helmet.

Very nice. Happy with the quality and you can not beat the price. This helmet took a 44 magnum round on a youtube review without penetration. Why would anyone buy a bump helmet when this is available for the this price. I was in between sizing and went for the med/large. It was tight. Measure your head and if you are on the border of the 2 sizes, go XL. I reached out to GD and they went above and beyond in making sure I was setup with the right gear. The arc rail and NVG mount are both tight. The click lock in the back makes sure it does not wobble around. Everyone’s head is different, but my helmet does not shift around at all. Very secure. These do go out of stock, so get one if it’s available or you will be waiting around for them.

Fit and finish are very good and detailed. Appears to carry the Norotos shroud mount and is aluminum. The weight is as stated at 3.5 lbs. Strapping is good with a tension adjuster aft. Arc rails are uniform and well finished polymer and accepts Peltor swing mounts. The interior padding is modest but sufficient and provides an adjustable fit. The fact that Guard Dog BA throws in a very nice helmet cover at this price point, is over the top value added. Stated a 2 week back order yet received by fed ex in about 5 days. Very satisfied with the experience overall.

Was in between sizes so ordered the XL and when I put it on it seemed huge. Sent it back and got the smaller one and it fits great. Quality seems good. Everything is nice and tight with no loose screws or anything. Weight isn’t bad at all. Certainly lighter than the kevlar helmet I was issued in the Corps in the late 80s. For the price you absolutely can’t beat it.

I like the helmet and how it comes. The strap is disappointing though. It’s thin and flimsy, and it is JUST too short for me. The helmet is the right size, but whoever designed the strap did not account for larger necks/chins.
